With Pt. Veerabhadraiah Hiremath ji
With Padma Vibhushan Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia ji
Sameer began his formative training under the esteemed Pandit Veerabhadraiah Hiremath Ji, whose mentorship provided the clarity and direction that defined his early musical trajectory.
Nurtured in the revered Guru–Shishya Parampara under Padma Vibhushan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia ji.
From 2004 to 2010, Sameer lived and trained under Panditji at the Vrindaban Gurukul, Mumbai — immersed in the daily discipline and spiritual depth of one of India's most hallowed musical lineages.
In 2010, Pandit Chaurasia Ji entrusted Sameer with the responsibility of managing and teaching at the newly established Vrindaban Gurukul in Bhubaneswar, Odisha — a role fulfilled with dedication until 2012.
Deeply rooted in this lineage, Sameer's music carries forward the aesthetic sensibilities and spiritual depth of his Guruji while evolving into a distinct and compelling voice of its own.
The Originality
Artfully integrating the emotive fluidity of Gayaki Ang with the rhythmic precision of tantrakari style, Sameer approaches music as Aradhana - a sacred, meditative journey inwards. His performances are marked by a rare balance: meticulously structured yet equally abstract.
"The listeners experience a journey that is introspective and deeply transformative."
His music reflects remarkable depth and essence, where technical mastery seamlessly merges with creative exploration. Sameer's artistry speaks of musical maturity — every note is not merely played, but lived and shared.
